TISA PRESENTS
Welcome to the TISA Film Club which is open during the assessment, thematic and holiday weeks.

What is it about?
We explore films of various genres, historical periods, and styles.
Initiating discussions with the students on important themes that concern them (such as friendship and betrayal, love, etc.) we delve into questions like:
Why do people make different decisions?
Does true love exist?
Can you forgive a close friend?
What is bullying?
ANALYZING THE SUBJECT
After watching a film, the teacher initiates a discussion with the students on important topics. Each participant can express their opinion.
DISCUSS AND PLAY
Children discuss in pairs, teams, and as a whole group. We also incorporate games and activities to ensure everyone's viewpoint is heard, with the teacher moderating the discussion.

FILM LIBRARY
We have curated a list of movies suitable for each age group/class, along with questions we aim to discuss.
FILM SELECTION
Students vote for a film from the list or we draw lots (which adds an element of surprise and excitement), or the teacher selects a film based on a particular theme/topic.
ENJOYING THE THEATRE
Students watch films on a large screen while seated in comfortable chairs, enjoying delicious popcorn and snacks (all sugar-free)!

Student Film Crew assists the teacher in organizing the Film Club. They create posters for the films, sell tickets, and prepare popcorn or tasty snacks.
SAFETY FIRST
The duration of the screening depends on the specific film. We limit the viewing time and may split it into two sessions if the film is too lengthy.
HOW TO JOIN
Students can join the Film Club activities by purchasing tickets using the school's currency - TISA Coins.
