World Literature
TISA CURRICULUM -> Humanities Subjects
At Tisa School, great emphasis is placed on humanities subjects, which include reading, world literature, foreign language studies, and social sciences. All subjects are taught in a transdisciplinary manner and interconnected.
World classical literature provides students with an understanding of the world, and a moral and ethical foundation, and teaches timeless values such as friendship, love, humility, compassion, and empathy. In books, children encounter different characters and situations, learn about various societies and cultures, and immerse themselves in different historical epochs.

CHECK OUT OUR LESSONS
Our lessons and school activities aim to promote love for reading and literature
Parent Visits
our parents come and read their favorite books aloud to the children
Students Read Alouds
older students come to the younger ones and read aloud
Literature Games
we organize games where teams of students go to the stations and answer questions about different books and solve different puzzles
Literature Workshops
on topics like who invented books, the first books in history, what is a library, etc.
Reading Conferences
in a format cafe, where every student shares details about their favorite book
Poem Contests
Library Visits
our students write the poems, and we hold a competition for the best poems and publish our book once a year
we go to the local libraries and book museums
Book Exchanges
where children share their favourite books with each other for a week
