Music classes include choir, rhythmics and solfeggio lessons.
Choir and rhytmics:
Students will be included in the consolidated school choir, and will perform songs: the school anthem; Christmas songs in different languages, including Dutch; and a joint musical performance project in the second semester.
Lessons will include different blocks: Favorite songs, songs for Holidays, practice songs (which will solve the problems of intonation, breathing, disclosure of character). By the end of the year, students will be able to achieve pure intonation (in their register), listen and hear each other, take breath correctly, sing meaningfully, naturally, freely and expressively.
Rhythmics lessons include basic exercises and bring students to high-quality performance. Students will learn how to use the movement to convey the image, character, form features, dynamics of the work. The result of the work will be shown at the end of the year at a concert with the participation of all classes.
Solfeggio:
Students will be able to master: the basic rhythmic formulas, read notes in treble and bass keys, compose funny stories with the names of notes by a group, recognizeintervals from prima to octave, use intervals in musical collective stories, compose simple melodies and pieces in the simplest musical forms, find notes on the glockenspiel and on the piano, participate in rhythmic dictation, solfege simple melodies by ear, improvisation in pentatonic and folk modes, participate in an ensemble improvisation, create genre variations on the Twinkle theme.
