TISA Special Needs Care Group
Care Group — part of TISA Care
Individualized Support for Neurodiverse Children (Ages 4–7)
About the Care Group
TISA's Special Needs Care Group is a dedicated standalone programme for neurodiverse children aged 4–7, combining one-on-one care with small group learning in a warm, multilingual environment. It's part of TISA Care, the school's broader commitment to supporting every child.
Our specialists work closely with families to create personalized care plans that help children build confidence and thrive. The programme runs every weekday from 8:30 to 13:00 at our Leiden campus.

Dedicated Specialists
The Care Group is staffed by two dedicated special-needs teachers who are also trained school psychologists. They lead every child's care plan, run individual and group sessions, and stay closely connected with families throughout the programme.
Special-Needs Teacher & School Psychologist
Combines classroom teaching with psychological assessment and support, so each child's learning and emotional needs are met by the same trusted adult.
Growing at Their Own Pace

A core focus of the programme is self-regulation — helping each child build the tools to understand and manage their emotions, attention, and behaviour. Growth in self-regulation is tracked and celebrated as a real achievement, just like any other milestone.
Every child also has their own personal "This Is Me" profile — a living picture of their strengths, needs, and preferences — and their own program-year journey, shaped around who they are.

"This Is Me" Profile
A personal profile capturing each child's strengths, needs, and preferences.
Program-Year Journey
Each child follows their own path through the programme, at their own pace.
