TIMO 2026
TIMO is an international mathematics competition designed to inspire young learners, demonstrate that math is an art, and foster logical and analytical thinking. Available in English and Dutch for students ages 4–12.
About TIMO
TIMO is an international mathematics competition that brings together young learners from schools across the Netherlands and beyond.
Students compete in 7 grade groups spanning ages 4–12, with all rounds available in both English and Dutch. The winning school — determined by the highest total score from all final-round participants — receives a €500 prize. Every participant receives a certificate.

Competition Timeline
TIMO 2026 runs across three stages from December 2025 to March 2026.
Stage 1: Registration
December 15, 2025 – January 25, 2026
Schools register their students for the competition. Available in English and Dutch.
Stage 2: Online Round
January 26 – February 6, 2026
Students complete the online mathematics round from their own school or home.
Stage 3: Final Round
March 22, 2026 — Leiden
Top performers are invited to the Final Round at TISA Leiden, Lorentzkade 15a.
Awards & Recognition
Every student who participates in TIMO receives a certificate of participation. The winning school is recognised with a €500 prize.

The school with the highest total score across all final-round participants receives €500.

Every student who takes part in TIMO receives an official certificate of participation.
