Six themed weeks of STEM, creative and outdoor adventure for children aged 5–12 — coding, robotics, animation, Dutch-master art and a wilderness hiking trip. July–August 2026.

Skills for the 21st Century

TISA Summer Camp gives children the chance to build the 21st-century skills every learner needs for successful study and a future career — through hands-on projects in coding, robotics, art, animation and the outdoors.

Children aged 5–12 are organised into three groups (5–6, 7–8 and 9–12) and choose one or more themed weeks on campus, plus an optional two-day forest hiking trip with parents.

Two Ways to Take Part

Join us on campus for themed weeks, head into the forest for a wilderness adventure, or do both.

On Campus

One or two weeks of themed activities — coding, robotics, art, animation and more — with daily sport, games and three meals a day.

Hiking in the Forest

A two-day, one-night wilderness trip with parents: bushcraft, navigation and survival skills under teacher supervision.

On-Campus Programme

July–August · 3 age groups · 3 meals per day, with a different thematic session each week for every age group.

Space & Robotics

Weeks 1–2 · July 13–24

Space

  • Program special characters in the MinecraftEdu game world
  • Program in Scratch to create cartoons, animations and games (space races, a labyrinth)
  • Use Scratch's built-in graphics editor to create game backgrounds and characters

Robotics

  • Invent and assemble 5 different space-time mechanisms with LEGO Spike Essential/Prime and program them

3D Modelling

Week 3 · July 27–31

  • Model and prototype 3D objects in Tinkercad
  • Create products using a 3D pen
  • Draw and make geometric shapes out of paper
  • Use the "morphological box" method to generate ideas

Practical application: Children try a new skill that helps them prototype and visualise their ideas.

Graphic Design

Week 4 · August 3–7

  • Basic Canva skills
  • Basic computer literacy skills
  • How to make a presentation
  • How to generate creative ideas

Project: A cover design for a favourite book, or a mini-poster with favourite characters

Create a Cartoon

Week 5 · August 10–14

  • Write scripts for short cartoons
  • Create characters using play-doh or other materials
  • Use basic software for creating videos
  • Record voice-overs
  • Use the technique of storytelling

Art — Dutch Masters

Week 6 · August 17–21

  • About the history of art
  • About 5 Dutch artists: Rembrandt, Vincent van Gogh, Piet Mondriaan, Adriaen de Vries and Jan Vermeer
  • How to work with different materials
  • Creative crafts using five materials: water, stained glass, paper, batik and sculpture clay

Project: A presentation of a creative portfolio

Hiking in the Forest

24–25 August 2026 · 2 days, 1 night

A wilderness adventure with an overnight tent stay under teacher supervision and three meals a day. Children learn real survival and bushcraft skills out in nature.

When is TISA's Summer Camp?

What ages can join Summer Camp?

The camp is split into three age groups: 5–6 years, 7–8 years, and 9–12 years, each with sessions designed for their developmental stage.

What do kids do at Summer Camp?
